Coyote Creek Ramble
I did a fun easy but longer ride a few days ago on the Coyote Creek trail on my recumbent. I headed North to Bernal road then looped back on the “Tree of Life” trail that runs next to Basking ridge road, eventually running into a little off-road path called “Road N” that runs into Metcalf road. From Metcalf I rejoined the Coyote Creek trail and headed home.
Then Sunday was my hard day for both cycling and upper body training. With my new exercise plan that I recently optimized for health, including that of my leaky heart valve, this is now a shorter day with the biking on my upright. I headed over to Coyote Creek to use the unpaved trails that are mostly used for walking and horseback riding, which I really like on my upright. This made for an enjoyable ride, challenging but fun. I followed it up at home with upper body strength training with resistance bands in my garage.
