First Hard Day After Vacation

https://ift.tt/sS8e3Q6

Yesterday was my first hard day after getting back from Phoenix. I was glad I hadn’t lost any fitness. The rule of thumb is you can maintain your fitness pretty well on one hard day per week, and I was only gone five days. We walked a lot while I was there, I just didn’t do any strength training. I picked that up right where I had left off using the resistance bands in my garage yesterday and it felt fine. And I did a long ride on my upright, with lots of standing and 10×1 min intervals, all of which went well.
